Associate Attorney
Taryn Jacobson is a dedicated attorney with a strong background in corporate litigation. Taryn earned her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law where she was the Senior Content Editor of the Southern California Review or Law and Social Justice. Her Note evaluating insanity as an affirmative defense was chosen for publication in Volume 30 of the Journal. Taryn honed her skills in the Immigration Appellate Clinic during her senior year. Notably, Taryn wrote the opening brief that resulted in a victory at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, safeguarding their client from deportation.
Taryn gained valuable experience as a summer associate at Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger LLP, where she continued as an associate attorney following graduation for the first two years of their legal career. During this time, Taryn developed a robust foundation in various areas of law. Subsequently, Taryn transitioned to Phillips Jessner, where she specialized in family law for six months. This role allowed Taryn to further diversify her legal expertise before joining LA Century Law in February 2024.
At LA Century Law, Taryn focuses on tort law, handling a broad range of cases including auto accidents, premises liability, and particularly landlord/tenant and habitability issues.
